Troubleshooting

The most common issues we've heard about — and exactly how to fix them.

AndroidThe text on my Android phone looks tiny — like the desktop site

This almost always means Chrome is loading GoPallino in Desktop site mode. When that's on, your phone pretends to be a laptop and shrinks everything to fit. It has nothing to do with your eyes or your phone settings.

How to fix it (60 seconds):

  1. If you've added GoPallino to your home screen, uninstall the app first. Long-press the icon → App info → Uninstall. (Just removing the shortcut isn't enough.)
  2. Open Chrome and go to gopallino.com.
  3. Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.
  4. Look for "Desktop site". If it has a checkmark, tap it to turn it off.
  5. Reload the page. The text should snap back to normal size.
  6. Then tap ⋮ again → "Add to Home Screen" to reinstall the app cleanly.

Still tiny after that? In Chrome tap ⋮ → Settings → Site settings → All sites → gopallino.com → Clear & reset. Then reload.

InstallHow do I install GoPallino on my phone?

GoPallino isn't in the App Store — it installs directly from your web browser, which is faster and always up to date.

On iPhone (Safari):

  1. Open your club's GoPallino page in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow).
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Tap Add. The icon appears on your home screen.

On Android (Chrome):

  1. Open your club's GoPallino page in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right.
  3. Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install app".
  4. Confirm. The app appears with the rest of your apps.
RefreshI updated something and don't see the change

Your browser or installed app may be showing a cached (saved) version of the page. Try these in order:

  1. Pull down on the page to refresh.
  2. Fully close the app or browser tab, then reopen it.
  3. If you installed GoPallino on your home screen, uninstall it and reinstall from a fresh visit to your club's page.
AccountI forgot my password

On the Log In page, tap "Forgot password?". We'll email you a link to set a new one. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a couple of minutes.

CaptainsI'm a captain — how do I report a score?

You don't need an account. From your club's GoPallino page, tap Report Score, find your match, and enter the final scores. Your team's 4-digit captain PIN confirms it's really you. Your league admin can edit any score after the fact.

AdminsI'm a league admin — where do I start?

After you sign up and create your club, you'll see your Admin Dashboard. Start a new season using the 5-step Season Wizard — it walks you through the basics, schedule, registration, and teams. Most admins are set up in under 15 minutes.
